At a cost of 48 points, a unit of Snowtroopers is only slightly more expensive than a group of Stormtroopers and it gives you a new option for filling out the bulk of your army.
Unphased by inclement weather or enemy fire, Snowtroopers specialise in firing on the move, applying constant pressure to enemy forces. Although their heavy insulated armour makes them a bit slower than Stormtroopers, their Steady ability lets them advance with slow, steady, and terrifying determination.
Beyond their basic functions, specialised troops can be added to your Snowtrooper units to give them a unique role in your army. Enemy vehicles become the main target of the T-7 Ion Trooper while a Flametrooper is capable of blasting large groups of enemies, even those behind cover.
