Fujimi 1/700 IJN Aircraft Carrier Shokaku 1941/Outbreak of War TOKU – 41

Shokaku (Japanese for Flying Crane) was a Japanese aircraft carrier laid down in 1937, launched in June 1939, and commissioned into the Imperial Japanese Navy in August 1941. The ship was 257.5 m long, 26 m wide, and had a full displacement of 32,100 tons. The maximum speed of the Shokaku aircraft carrier was around 34 knots, and its main armament consisted of 84 carrier-based aircraft.
