This is a standard jib crane. They were used for moving heavy loads at station platforms and in yards and many industrial locations. A typical use would be to lift a truck so a wheelset could be changed or to move items from a flat car to a truck at a station. It is about 16 feet high.
This kit is injection molded in gray styrene and includes chain or cable.
